Standing beside people in a crisis (সংকটের সময়ে মানুষের পাশে) — Smile For All
Request Emergency Oxygen →During the COVID-19 pandemic, when countless people in Daulatpur and Bheramara upazilas of Kushtia were struggling with breathing difficulties and oxygen shortages, Smile For All (SFA) and Agrajatra Manob Kalyan Foundation jointly ran a free emergency oxygen service to stand beside people in urgent need.
Both organizations brought their own capacity, funding, manpower, and volunteer networks to this effort. Agrajatra Manob Kalyan Foundation provided significant funding and support for the initiative, while Smile For All also raised its own funds to acquire oxygen cylinders and other necessary equipment, and mobilized volunteers to deliver the service at the field level.
Through this joint effort, a total of 31 oxygen cylinders, 1 oxygen concentrator, and around 150 oximeters were made available for people's urgent needs. Through SFA's union and ward-level local volunteer network, oximeters and other emergency support reached people at their doorstep.
Volunteers across Daulatpur and Bheramara were directly involved in identifying people's needs, delivering oxygen cylinders, supplying oximeters, and ensuring follow-up support as required. Through this combined effort, emergency oxygen support reached more than a thousand people.
